Reading 2 - 2 Plymouth Argyle
It was a really intense and interesting match in this game as 3000 Argyle fans see their team comeback twice. Argyle were unchanged from their latest match against Wigan, after beating them 3-0. The match got underway as the referee blew the whistle, Reading started superbly after a strange cross goal from Randell Williams, inside 2 minutes. Argyle responded in no time at all after a brilliant corner from Ronan Curtis and a sneaky finish with his right foot from Alex Mitchell on loan from Charlton, his second goal for the pilgrims.
Both teams were pushing hard to get the next goal, and it came from another corner from Reading, after a bullet header from Paudie O’Connor, to make it 2-1 and retake the lead just 17 minutes in. Argyle try to fight back quickly before half time as Bim Pepple was dragged down in the penalty area but the referee waved away his appeals for a penalty. Half time it’s currently 2-1 Reading after a great first half.
Second half gets underway as Argyle were mainly the dominant team in the second half, trying to break down the home side and indeed they did in the 67th minute, after a great strike from Caleb Watts, 2 goals in 2 games for him. Reading tried to take the lead for the third time as they constantly kept putting shots over the bar, Argyle went forward one last time but they just missed after a tired finish from Ronan Curtis. The Match finished 2-2 in a really great game of football as both teams drop points, in a fair game of football.
